User RegistrationYou may enter your own name in the Username box or any other available name. A nickname is necessary, it may be the same as your username. The nickname will be the name that is used when you add news or comments. If you want to argue with yourself register with an additional username! Tip: write down your chosen password before you enter it in the box Your email addresss is required for legal reasons and to contact you with password details if necessary. Your email will not be visible to users. |

Adding NewsWhen you select to Add News a window will open that initially requires a category. If you want to classify the news so that it will appear in more than one category then click (multi-category-as shown on the left) Select all that apply. Short Story?Owing to a fault in the software selecting multi-category disables the Long Story option. So make sure you enter your news story as a Short Story -it does not need to be short! The Add News Tool BarYou may format your story with the news bar and also add a link. Experiment to see what each option actually does. |

Advice to Writers :)From painfull experience the longer a forum entry the more likely one is to lose it :( Its best to write your new story/article/ idea/comment separately, then copy and paste it into the forum box. This advice applies to all forums on the Internet. Its easier to use Notepad or a similar text editor as word processing programs add all manner of invisible coding tags that could alter your displayed story. Its best to add your formating within the forum story box. If it does go wrong try clicking the "View Source" button |
