Healthy Diet Tool Introduction

Author Geoff Edwards. Its all my own work taking over ten years. Of course it is based on verifiable data and use on a daily basis and the Microsoft application Excel without which it would not have been created. I was not employed to develop the tool. It just developed and I thought that if it was useful to me it could be useful to others. Fortunately, I am healthy, aged 76 and still capable of over a thousand press-ups a week and of performing a complete circuit of 360 degree jumps at Swindon Ice Rink (provided no one gets in the way :). And I weigh a little under 84Kg.

Accompanying this introduction is a download to a PDF file that reports on the project: Healthy Diet  the rest of the website category "Healthy Diet" is provided as a report on the development of the project and other topics.

I have set up a Facebook page which provides opportunities for users to ask questions: Healthy Diet Calculator

Healthy diet calculator update 2014v4: Pizza

I have updated the Excel calculator to include Pizza. At over 800 calories per 390 g or 9 inch pizza a pizza represents a significant proportion of our daily diet if you eat a whole pizza. And who wouldn't they are so tasty!

The pizza entry calories is limited to flour and cheese and also to tomato puree in relation to the Five a Day calculation 1.4. These ingredients are common to all pizzas. Toppings  need to be added to the appropriate categories. Diet calorie calculator v4

The spreadsheet is designed to cover a week. Important features include: Portions a Day, Protein Consumption, Fat Consumption and Alcohol Total Units.
