Location: Opposite the Entrance to the Freshford Memorial Hall car park

There is no doubt that the proposed Freshford village shop will be visible from this location. However, the adjoining property - Tyning House- has wooded gardens with several coniferous trees that obscure both the Memorial hall car park and the proposed location of the new village shop throughout the year for anyone who is further up Freshford Lane. Note that the road is lower than the land to lower down Freshford Lane and that the ditch and hedgerow includes several small trees that provide an effective screen even in Winter.
