The movies were filmed on a digital video camera temporarily fixed to the bonnet of my Land Rover car, fixed directly in front of but below the driver's field of view. The viewpoint is equivalent to exactly what a driver would see in a car that is lower than a Land rover, and therefore records the degree of visability, the line of sight, which the driver would have. I drove at a speed not exceeding 25 mph in both directions on a weekday afternoon between 2:00 and 2:30pm.
